Carolina Grace's 4 month check up

Carolina Grace being weighed

Carolina Grace with her pediatrician, Dr. Rouse

All is now right with the world...my Daddy is here!

Today Carolina Grace had her 4 month check up. I dressed her in a little pumpkin costume (Ella Rose wore it last year) since it's so close to Halloween...I mean if you're gonna have to have shots, you might as well look really cute.

She weighs a whopping 16 lbs. 13 oz (97%) and she is 26 inches long (97%). The shots were quite tough for her and for me too, but afterwards we met Ian at the foodcourt on base and as soon as she saw her Daddy, she just lit up.

She is growing so fast and she is such a precious baby who is always smiling, chuckling and just fills our hearts with JOY! Below are some of Carolina Grace's accomplishments and favorite things:
*Sleeps 12 hours a night consistently
*She has turned from her back to her stomach once (when we put her in her crib and weren't looking of course)
*Chuckles at her Big Sister all the time
*Learned to go under water at the pool (the Germans call it diving)
*She jabbers quite a bit
*Her favorite toys are: Ellie the Elephant, the flower rattle, and the talking Octopus and she loves laying on her mat with the twinkling star that makes music
*She loves to hear singing
*She loves being read to at night with her Sister
*Carolina Grace has almost outgrown her bouncy seat and ready for the activity center but she still loves her swing. I think she really really LOVES Ella Rose pushing her in the swing.
*And Carolina Grace LOVES people

Oh we love our sweet baby girl, Carolina Grace. She is such a treasure to us and she truly is a ray of sunshine to our little family. God has blessed our socks off for sure!!!

Her beautiful sweet smile more than makes up for the few rough weeks when she was first born! What a little sweetie!
