HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, IAN
Ian, even though you can't be with us today on your special day, please know we LOVE you so much!!! The girls talk about you every day countless times a day, and we're taking a link off of our chain each day waiting for you to come back to us! Ian, you're a great Daddy, and I appreciate so much the man you are! Thank you for loving me and thank you for loving our sweet girls! I appreciate you working so hard and serving our country and sacrificing so much so that I can be home with our girls. You're a man with integrity, great character, and you're an incredible man that we love with all of our hearts!

Family Day at Sesame Place
Back in May we had an awesome opportunity to go to Busch Gardens new Sesame Place for FREE thanks to the "Here's to the Heroes" program where they allow active duty military and their families to go to the park for the day! We ended up Dining with Elmo for lunch which was the highlight of the day for the girls! It ended up being about 95 degrees, we got there at 10:30 and left by around 3:30. We had such a great time although we were kinda bummed that the train around Busch Gardens was closed for maintenance. The girls LOVE TRAINS but hey we got in a great roller coaster for Ella Rose and some great rides for all of us as well as a cool show where we all (including Ian) got soaked! Hee hee!
Our precious Ella Rose has a great time wherever she goes!!!
The man waving is Ian and this is Ella Rose's VERY FIRST roller coaster ride
Double click on the pix and you will see a very excited Ella Rose looking quite accomplished after her first ride!
Daddy and his little baby girl
Carolina Grace's first ride (not even 2 and not sure what to think)
but she's okay because she's with her Daddy
Checking it all out
If you see Ella Rose's hands you will see she has CHOCOLATE on them and here she is about to hug none other than COOKIE MONSTER!
Not sure what she is asking for but it looks kinda important!
Look at that little tongue
Hugging Ernie
Carolina just saw ELMO!!! (her favorite)
Hugging Elmo
I can just imagine how hot these characters were in their costumes that day!
Big Bird looks a bit left out here doesn't he?
Elmo is definitely the popular one with our girls
And my personal favorite has always been COOKIE MONSTER (hmmm it wouldn't be because I love chocolate chip cookies so much would it?)
Mama got to ride with Ella Rose on the roller coaster too...Ian and I were fighting over who was going to ride the roller coaster next with Ella Rose. Hee hee!!!
Ella Rose needing a little break
Indoor show where we were all drenched...Ian was kinda concerned about getting wet at all and I told him that that was a sign of him getting old because I remembered my Daddy being the same way when we would go to Six Flags. I mean my Daddy NEVER wanted to ride the Log Ride, and of course that was my FAVORITE ride because hey when you're a kid, you always want to get wet right? Ian said something about sloshing around the park all day long and driving home in the car wet...and that's why he has ME and he loves me so much because I keep a lot of FUN in his life and I constantly have him on the edge of his seat (hey even if that seat is wet) so we had a BLAST getting soaked and within about 2 minutes we were dry because remember it WAS 95 degrees!!! :) And we have MEMORIES and that's what it's all about!!!
I thought you've got to be kidding...my babies are riding something for the very first time all by themselves??? I wasn't sure how Carolina was going to do....BUT
she loved it!
Having the time of their lives
I'm standing there watching my 3 year old and not even 2 year old wondering how I am ever gonna watch them go off to college for Pete's sake...and I'm not kidding there were other parents there I know thinking the same thing! Riding the swing at the amusement park by yourself is a BIG DEAL!!!
Another fun ride with Mama
We were all getting pretty hot at this point!
Oh I love our precious girls!!!
