December 7-9

On December 7 we went to church but can you believe there are days that we actually don't take ANY pics. I know it's hard to believe, but on Sunday's if we don't get pics of the girls BEFORE church, it usually doesn't happen because Sunday's are busy with us being gone from 9:00-1:00 only to get back home, feed the girls, and EVERYONE (including Ian and I) goes down for naps.

The next day, December 8 we had a play date with Evie and Simeon. We were about ready to walk out the door when I snapped this pix of Ella Rose. She is talking up a storm so she kept saying EVIE and SIME.

Simeon is such a good little boy and a cutie too (9 months old)

Evie (almost 2) has an incredible vocabulary and she is just as smart as a whip

Carolina Grace found Simeon's activity center to play in but unfortunately I couldn't get any pics of ALL the kids together. That's really hard with 2 toddlers.

The girls playing together on December 9

Yea...Ollie and Lisa came to play with us!

Lisa and Ollie (only 7 weeks old in this pix)

Ella Rose was so tickled to see Ollie

Ella Rose entertaining our guests

Mom, it's kinda noisy with these 2 girls around

Ella Rose loves helping and couldn't keep her hands off of Ollie

I'm sure Ollie was kinda overwhelmed on one of his first play dates, but I know my girls had a ball!

Am I outnumbered or what???

Trying to get a pix of these 3...the most ACTIVE one is always the most challenging in the pix department.
Ollie, Carolina Grace, & Ella Rose
We sure had a great time with Lisa and Ollie on our 1st play date with them

December 4-6

On December 4 I attended our Church's Ladies Dinner Auction and had such a great time of fellowship with the other ladies while my precious Ian watched the girls and put them to bed.
On Dec. 5 we met Daddy at Chili's for lunch
Back home chillin' with the girls
Blowing kisses

Our sweet Ella Rose

Our girls love each other so much!

Carolina Grace sits up all by herself for the very 1st time!!!
Santa's Little Helper
I'm kinda getting the hang of this
Dec. 6-Ella Rose loves being close to her Sister even if it means laying under the Jumperoo
Sleepy baby
On the morning of Dec. 6 we also headed out to see Ian ringing the bell and late that afternoon Ian and I also went on a date and visited some Christmas markets (that I already posted a couple of weeks ago) and Dehli our sweet babysitter watched the girls for us.

December 3

Grandma Ella Mae sent this Storybook Rhymes to Ella Rose and it sings lots of little songs...thank you Grandma Ella Mae for always thinking of us (and the girls too) and all the sweet notes you send us continuously. We feel so loved by you!

and then...Ella Rose helped Carolina Grace open the present for her

Hey what about me over here?

And Carolina Grace says, "Here we go again..."

It's not that Ella Rose doesn't like her own toys, she just really really LOVES babydolls right now

What do you mean it was Carolina Grace's present???
By the time she's 20 I'm sure she will have learned how to share bless her heart
All is good again

December 2

On December 2, Carolina Grace started getting up on all 4's and rocking back and forth. She isn't crawling yet, but I am gearing myself up for it...I'm not gonna just have one very busy toddler but 2 busy youngin's on my hands.

Countdown to Christmas-December 1

I have so many pictures from Christmas that I want to post so what I'm going to do is try to post highlights from each day in December leading up to Christmas Day. We made so many wonderful memories as we spent our last Christmas in Germany with family and friends. And you're going to see a lot of RED...I pulled out all the RED outfits from the girls closets for the month of December, but PINK is coming back out in January.

Sweetest little candy cane in Germany

Eating at Kuhn's Steak House with The Nichols...best steak we have ever tasted and I am not kidding!!! That's saying a lot because I used to live in TX! Jean sent me this pix as I did not take my camera can you believe so I don't even have one of The Nichols Family.

When we got home, we opened up early Christmas presents from Grandma Shirley and Papa T. Thank you so much for loving our girls!

Ella Rose loved her Sesame Street Ernie talking toy

But she also was such a great big Sister and helped Carolina Grace open her present too

Carolina Grace's present was POOH BEAR

Ella Rose is eyeing Carolina Grace's present

Hey at least let me touch it!

Yea...I knew it wouldn't take long to grab Pooh Bear

This may be the last shot with Pooh Bear & Carolina Grace for quite a while

Visiting a Christmas Market with the girls

A couple of weeks ago we went to the Saarbrucken Christmas Market with the girls and it was VERY VERY COLD. We bundled the babies up in their snow suits and we bee-bopped all over the Weihnachts Markt eating a Bratwurst and a crepe too. We thought it was well worth it as this is one of our favorite Christmas Markets in our area. The girls were just angels even in the cold weather. At 4:30 and 7:00, Santa comes down in a sleigh over the town and it's really cool so we got to see Santa from a distance too.
The Livingston girls had a ball!
Yum Yum...Crepes are good!
Ian is having to learn to share his food
What...that's it??? No more crepes???
Carolina Grace just took it all in and was snug as a bug in a rug
Ella Rose had the best view from Daddy's shoulders
Now it's time for a BRATWURST

Making some sweet memories
