Katie turns ONE

Going to Katie's 1 year old birthday party was the highlight of our weekend! Katie actually turned one back at the end of January, but she had to wait for her Daddy to return from his 9 month deployment to Afghanistan to CELEBRATE in style! Katie is such a precious baby girl and one of Ella Rose's best little friends. We always enjoy getting together with them for play dates, prayer time, swim lessons, and church. We are so going to miss The Estridge's when they move to OH in April. But it's what we folks do when we're in the Military...you have to say goodbye to sweet friends, but they will always be so dear to us. I can just imagine one day when we're old and gray and our girls are all grown up with families of their own, we'll be getting together to sit on each other's front porches and sip on some sweet tea and talk about our grandchildren.
