I can't believe our baby girl is now a toddler and is 1 1/2 years old...wow time flies when you're having fun!!! We went for Ella Rose's 18 month old checkup last week and here are her current stats. One day she will not want her weight on the blog so Mama's gonna do it while she can still get away with it. :)
Weight: 25 lbs. 14 oz. (50-75 percentile)...Ella Rose weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz when she was born
Height: 33 inches (75-90 percentile)...She was 19.75 inches when she was born
All of our doctor's visits are always such an adventure! I told the Doctor a funny story about my own Mama taking me to the Dr. for my 18 month old check up and she was seriously concerned about my hearing. She told the Doctor she wasn't sure I could hear as I never looked at her when she told me to do something. The Doctor of course laughed and said, "no she has NO problem with her ears...she's just 18 months old." Ian was able to meet us at the Doctor's office since Ella Rose also had her shots. She did great and got a Strawberry Shortcake sticker that even smelled like strawberries so she forgot about the shot rather quickly. Yea for Strawberry Shortcake!

We are entering the TERRIFIC TWOS early. She is a little girl filled with LOTS of life and energy and I believe she is going to be a little talker (hmmm...wonder who she gets that from), she doesn't know a stranger, and she's kinda strong willed too (not one bit shocked over this since her Mama and Daddy are both strong willed). Ella Rose is such a JOY, and we are just so blessed to have her as our little girl. She is also proving to be such a great Big Sister to Carolina Grace.
