Big Girl Bed for Ella Rose
Oh my goodness...it has finally happened. At the beginning of April, Ella Rose's crib was taken down to a big girl bed and she is now sleeping in her bed without a hitch. She stays right in her bed every morning until Mama or Daddy gets her. Yesterday morning I went in there and she was cheerfully singing "Hallelu...Hallelu...Hallelu...Hallelu...Praise ye the Lord!" It was awesome! What a great way to start the day!

Wow...she's just now getting a big bed?? goodness! josh has been in a big bed since he turned two...and would have been before that if we hadn't been in the middle of a move! Sam will move into one this summer before Tiger is born.
Josh wakes us up some mornings running into our room and shouting, "Jesus is alive!!!" It's so precious! Course, it's usually way too early, but what a great way to wake up!! Glad Ella Rose is doing well in her bed!
Yeah! Glad the transition has been so smooth! I was so glad that we waited until the twins and Jarrod turned 3 for bed transitions. Less problems, I think, than those kids I know who transitioned at 2. It's awesome that Ella Rose is doing great!
:) Makes me smile to hear her waking up this way! I bet it makes God smile too. Glad the transition is so smooth. Is Carolina Grace still sharing a room with Ella Rose?

I really do not like the way Ella Rose is growing up so quickly! She is just such a big girl! But we do love it that she is now big enough to sleep beside our bed in a sleeping bag! What a little doll!

YAY Ella Rose! Congrats! Bren got moved to his toddler bed a bit early for our tastes but it was either that or buy another crib for Alex and we thought we'd save a buck or 2. What a DISASTER! Should have kept him in the crib and then maybe into a dog kennel from there. So glad you waited till she was truly ready to stay put! Just took Alex's crib down today (self-defense b/c he's been trying to climb out of his crib) but he's our sleeper and he means business when he goes down for naps or nighttime. Praising God for NOT giving us 2 non-sleepers! Bren's tightly wound and Alex is so relaxed and enjoys his shut-eye. In other words, Bren is ME and Alex is Vin! LOL! So happy for Big Girl Ella Rose but just wait b/c Miss Carolina Grace will probably be wanting what her big sis has VERY soon! Alex is certainly growing up too fast for MY tastes. Wish he'd just relax and enjoy his baby-ness. Oh well. ;)
