Parade and Parks

These pictures are very late, but I just had to post these pictures of a Memorial Day parade right down the street from where we used to live in Live Oak, Texas. It was the 1st parade for both girls and they really enjoyed seeing all the floats. Well it was kinda small...maybe about 8 floats in all but hey it WAS a parade and they threw candy from their floats too! This was the weekend Ian was on his cross country in MS and Mimi and Papa came in for a visit!

Ready for the fun to start!
Ella Rose waving and checking out the floats

A parade is just not a parade without a fire truck

Ella Rose trying to catch some candy

It was a very very hot day (about 95 degrees)

This was the prettiest float in the parade

And colorful too

Meeting some dogs after the parade was all over

Our sweet baby girl
Now it's time to go to the park

Mama and Ella Rose posing...look at Ella Rose's hands

Carolina Grace always loves a good ride on the swing esp. when she is pushed by Papa

Such a thrill

"Mommy, I'll walk!"...words frequently spoken by Ella Rose on a DAILY basis...hmmm...did we really need a DOUBLE STROLLER?

That is too cute with Ella Rose's hands right where they need to be for the monkey picture :) Looks like it was a HOT day. That's probably an understatement from what you've told me about the temps.

Such cute pics. Love Ella Rose the monkey! And it's so sweet to see Carolina Grace just having a blast on that swing! Yay for Mimi & Papa getting to see their girls for the weekend!
