The flight from Germany...what an adventure

Some of you have asked how the flight went from Germany to The States...well it could have been better but then it could have been worse too! :) But all in all flying with 2 babies under 2 years of age was not so bad and knowing that we only had a ONE WAY ticket helped a lot too! The flight from Frankfurt to Atlanta was about 10 hours and the flight from Atlanta-San Antonio was another 2 hours so hey even for an adult that's a mighty long time to be on an airplane.

We had so much stuff to check...13 bags in all and we got up at 3:30 a.m. (Germany time) and arrived into TX at 6:30 p.m. (TX time) which was then 1:30 in the morning in Germany! Whew...made for a very long day!!!

This was about 4 hours into the flight and Ella Rose was kind of having a hard time...the flight attendant brought her a little sundae from first class! Ian asked me, "do you think the flight attendant would bring me a sundae too if I have a meltdown?"

Finally...Ella Rose sound asleep and she slept for almost 5 hours! YEA!!!

We were so glad to finally arrive in the good ole USA!
